Hi, I'm Bethany, I am a textile designer studying Textiles, graduating from Cardiff Metropolitan University in July 2016. 

 

I have a keen eye for design and an interest in using vintage items within my designs. My final major project which is being exhibited in May 2016, explores the idea of a contemporary Make Do and Mend ideology held in society and the juxtaposition of this with fast fashion culture. The designs in my current project are aimed at being used within a craft room for stationery, homewares and sewing accessories. 

 

I will be graduating from Cardiff Metropolitan University in July 2016. Between the 29th June and 2nd July I exhibited my work at New Designers 2016 along with 7 other coursemates in stand T74.

 

In January 2016 I won 8 weeks work experience with the greetings card company International Greetings which I will be completing between July and September 2016.
